Contraindications

Contraindications

This treatment is not recommended for patients suffering from any of the symptoms below:

  • Acute stage of respiratory attack

  • Stage 3 Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

  • Intoxication due to alcohol or non-prescription drugs

  • Cardiac insufficiency

  • Haemorrhage

  • Haemoptysis (spitting up blood)

  • Hypertension - Stage 2 or secondary - This is when the reading is above 160/100.

  • Hypertension - Severe - This is when the reading is above 180/120.
